Revealed that advanced technology was used in the construction of pyramids in ancient Egypt

US researchers have obtained new information about the construction of the pyramids that will overshadow the research done so far. The dam system around the Zoser pyramid, one of the largest pyramids in Egypt, emphasizes water power, not leverage, to move heavy masses.

According to studies conducted by a magazine published in the USA, a type of hydraulic lifting system is considered as a method used in the construction of the Zoser Pyramid in the Saqqara region, one of the oldest and largest pyramids in Egypt.

In their detailed explanations published in the journal Plos One, the researchers state that there is data showing that the Egyptians used water in the construction of the Zoser pyramid and that moats, tunnels and a dam system used to store water were established around the pyramid and on the ground to direct water to the construction site.

In ancient research, it was thought that there was a lever system in the construction of the pyramids.
One of the main reasons why the theory that heavy stones were placed on the upper parts of the pyramid with a lever system has been re-emphasized for a long time is that when researchers examined old archaeological data, evidence was found that there was much more water around the pyramid than thought.
When the structures inside and under the pyramid were re-examined, the theory that they established a hydraulic lifting system by using water power to lift the stones came to the fore.
Water resources around the pyramid played an important role in pyramid construction
While it is not known for what purpose the Gisr el-Mudir basin, located near the pyramid, was used by the Ancient Egyptians before, with this new theory, it is thought that the basin served as a dam collecting water.
In addition to excessive rainfall, Wadi Abusir structure, as another water source, is thought to feed a temporary lake called Upper Abusir Lake, which feeds the pyramid.
